Eversendai founder Tan Sri A K Nathan, who turns 68 this year, is showing no signs of slowing down.
The steel structure specialist disappeared from investors’ radar screens during the oil and gas industry’s downturn as its venture left a huge dent on the company due to mistiming.
But the self-made entrepreneur is not throwing in the towel.
Eversendai is now taking on the very challenging structural steel works for an outdoor ski resort called Trojena in Saudi Arabia, a project which Nathan says will take the company to the next level.
The Edge: With such a massive project Eversendai is taking on in Saudi Arabia, how will you fund the working capital?

A K Nathan: There will be no fundraising from our side. We are getting advance payment from the clients, so there is no issue at all. We will progressively cl
